Tatiana's love of performing started at an early age when she and her two younger brothers would perform renditions of 'Jesus Christ Superstar' for their parents. She then began working professionally at the age of 9 with roles in local theatre productions. In her high school years she was heavily involved in improvisation.

At the age of 20 she started to consider if she wanted to make acting her career but questioned her abilities. She took steps to develop her craft by enrolling in acting classes, a place she says is her "favourite place to be, in class and studying." She continued to deepen her skills through small roles in television and film.

Her most significant role came when she was cast in 'Orphan Black', playing multiple characters who are all clones of each other. The show allowed her to true how truly talented she is and she was praised for her work. Her cast mates all speak highly of her talent, professionalism and kind personality. Although she enjoyed playing all the roles, she has said she most enjoyed the role of Cosima. She has previously said, "I think Cosima is so fascinated with life and people and the way things work...she's constantly questioning things...I feel like I can relate that to my passion for acting." Her work on the show earned her a Prime Time Emmy Award for Lead Actress in a television series, making her the first Canadian Actress to win in a major category in a Canadian television show. She was also awarded an 'Ally for Equality' award by the Human Rights Campaign for her work on the show.

In her most recent role, Tatiana joins the Marvel Universe as The She-Hulk. She was excited to play a role that is unlike anything she has played before. Unfortunately the series has received poor ratings and reviews and, at the time of writing, is unlikely to be renewed for a second season.

Tatiana married her partner Brendan Hines in 2022. She has been with the 45 year old American actor since 2020 and announced their marriage on the Stephen Colbert show after the pair wed in secret.
